Generali renews its partnership with the inclusive club Les Coqs Festifs

  • Committed to the Parisian inclusive association and club Les Coqs Festifs since January 2023, Generali is proud to renew its partnership for two years.
  • Beyond the visibility of the Generali logo on the Club ball, the two partners will continue to carry out numerous joint initiatives to increasingly counter LGBT+ discrimination in the professional environment.

ENGAGED TOGETHER IN THE SERVICE OF LGBT+ INCLUSION

The partnership with Les Coqs Festifs is part of Generali 's actions as a responsible employer to ensure an inclusive working environment for LGBT+ people. From the beginning, it was based on shared values ​​of respect, living together and team spirit supported by rugby. First expression of this rapprochement, the Generali logo adorned the Club ball from the start of 2023.

Since then, the two partners have carried out numerous joint actions to raise the fight for LGBT+ inclusion. Thus, on the occasion of the inter-association meeting on June 8, 2024, the new identity of the internal community of LGBT+ members and allies within Generali was revealed: “We Proud Francein parallel with the signing of the L’Autre Cercle LGBT+ Commitment Charter. The Parisian Pride March 2024 saw the birth of the first common tank overlooked by the team's giant balloon.

A PARTNERSHIP IN ACTION

The year 2025 will be punctuated by numerous initiatives, new or in continuation of commitments already made. Affiliated with the LGBT+ Sports Federation, the Club participates in regional, national or international rugby tournaments and also in a vast program to combat homophobia. After the Bingham Cup in Rome in 2024, Generali will thus support the participation of the Festive Roosters in the Union Cup in Oslo on May 30 and June 1.

« Our partnership with Generali France goes beyond sponsorship: it is very valuable support in our eyes which expresses itself through numerous actions shared together,” adds Alban Vandekerkove, President of the rugby club. “ We continuously communicate with Generali around rugby and more broadly inclusion. We develop joint projects but also time to raise awareness and interact with employees. »
