The Portes du Tarn accelerated their development in 2025 with the arrival of new companies, the construction of the Stop & Go headquarters and eco -responsible initiatives.

After difficult beginnings and numerous controversies, the Portes du Tarn Activity Park, straddling the municipalities of Saint-Sulpice-la-Pointe (Tarn) and Buzet-sur-Tarn (Haute-Garonne), continues its development. The 198 hectare site aims a strong job creation, with direct access to the A68.

The works had resumed in September 2023 to restore industrial prizes, then, in April 2024, the doors of the Tarn obtained the label “Colden sites in 2030”. Since then, companies have started to set up, despite a difficult economic context.

At the start of the year, the SPLA (Local Public Public Planning Company), the Porte du Portes du Tarn, announced the 2025 program. In particular the arrival of three new companies: Batiréa Engineering and Euromédia, a unit of Agrifood production (in bakery) and a solidarity concierge, in order to offer shared services to businesses.

Stop & Go will set up its head office well at the gates of Tarn. The work will start during the first quarter of 2025. Valérie Laumond, director general of the SPLA qualified this construction as “significant concretization of an announcement made in the summer of 2024”.

In addition to these installations, the servicing work will continue throughout the year, in particular on the counter-alley (boulevard Mendès-France). The local market gardener who cultivates on the site counts, diversify his activity over 2025 with the production of potatoes.
