Maxence Giboudot, best French after the 1st round in Limpopo

Nine French people made a long trip to South Africa for the opening tournament of the 2025 Tour Challenge season. At the end of the 1st round, the former TCU player Maxence Giboudot (photo) is best placed.

The Jurassic Maxence Giboudot is back at Zebula Golf Estate & SPA in Limpopo in South Africa. Last year, he had not crossed the cut but this week he was off to launch his season on better bases after a well -negotiated first round with a card of 68.

He points to 5th position two blows from the head but to cross the cut he will have to avoid reproducing the same errors as in 2024 when he had followed his inaugural 69 by an unacceptable 75.

Three other tricolors made cards under s. Sébastien Gros (-3), Félix Mory (-2) et Clément (-1).
