A Montreal firefighter was arrested at his workplace by Laval police officers on Thursday, TVA Nouvelles and the Journal learned.
The investigation by the Laval City Police Service (SPL) began on December 21. A first search was carried out in the days that followed in Laval.
Following the search, the final phase of the investigation was completed Thursday morning.
The firefighter was arrested at his workplace, in a barracks, according to our information. This is Alexandre Bleau, aged 38. He was met by investigators from the SPL Sex Crimes Squad.

He was due to appear in court in the afternoon. He faces several charges of voyeurism. He possibly recorded his victims, women, without their knowledge.
