Since Wednesday, January 22, the RD129 departmental road has been closed to traffic between Anduze and Générargues, due to a significant risk of landslides. The alert was launched on social networks. Since this Wednesday, January 22, the RD129 has been facing a risk of landslides considered too great.. Thus, the Gard Departmental Council has taken the decision to close this axis until January 31. This measure, although temporary, risks causing disruption for motorists used to using this road which links Anduze to Générargues. Expertise is underway to precisely assess the state of the cliff and determine the work necessary to guarantee a safe reopening.
In the meantime, to allow continued travel, motorists must now take diversion routes set up by the Departmental Council. LUsers can thus bypass the RD129 and connect Anduze to Générargues via Alès via the RD910A and RD50 roads, or by joining Saint-Jean-du-Gard via the RD907, RD983 and RD50 axes.. These diversions make it possible to maintain fluid traffic while avoiding the dangers linked to potential landslides.
The Gard Departmental Council invites drivers to stay informed of developments in the situation via the official website inforoute.gard.fr, where updates will be regularly published.
