A vehicle ends its journey on its roof

For a reason that remains to be determined, a driver in her forties left the road this morning around 9 a.m. on Jutras Boulevard West near Pépin Street in Victoriaville.

The woman’s vehicle rolled several times before coming to rest on its roof, in a field, a few meters from the road.

Although the accident was spectacular, the driver, according to agent Louis-Philippe Ruel of the Media Relations Department of the Sûreté du Québec, was not injured. She was nevertheless assessed by paramedics.

At the time of writing, a trailer was expected on site to free the car from its unfortunate position. Traffic was still moving in the area, in one eastbound lane.
