Reading Nights return for their 9thth edition, from January 23 to 26, 2025, under the theme of heritage.
This theme first explores personal transmission: memories, values, material or immaterial legacies, and their role in intimate literature. Each generation thus revisits its history through works.
Heritage also extends to collective heritage, whether territorial, national or universal. Literature, both witness and creator, contributes to enriching and transmitting this heritage, whether material (collections, texts) or immaterial (imaginary, knowledge).
Finally, heritage is embodied in emblematic places – monuments, libraries, parks – which become living stages for readings and performances. These Reading Nights will be an opportunity to bring these places to life through events that celebrate the works as much as the sites that host them.
