Cindy Fabre, who has chaperoned Miss France for a little over two years, is leaving the management of the competition.
She has been the face of the competition since the departure of Sylvie Tellier in August 2022. Cindy Fabre, Director of the Miss France competition, is leaving her position, the Miss France company indicated in a press release, released this Wednesday. “The Miss France company and Cindy Fabre are ending their collaboration,” details the press release.
Frédéric Gilbert, president of the Miss France company, thanks the former Miss France for having “enabled us to ensure continuity and preserve the values of the Miss France competition”, this short press release further indicates.
“A contract that is not renewed”
For her part, Cindy Fabre thanks “all the teams of the Miss France company, the delegates and the partners with whom she worked, as well as the Misses whom she had the honor of accompanying”.
There is no “no scandal”, “no dismissal”, only a “contract which is not renewed”, specifies the communication from Miss France, attached by BFMTV.com. Cindy Fabre was not an employee of the Miss France company, but a project manager at EMA Events, a Dijon agency specializing in events, a service provider for the Miss France company. It will not be replaced, we are told again.
Accompany Miss France
Cindy Fabre's role was therefore to support Miss France during her first steps in the media after her election, but also during one-off events such as the Cannes festival, that of Monaco or Deauville. She was also present during the candidates' preparation trip, which takes place before the election in December.
-This former Miss Normandy 2004, and Miss France 2005, aged 39, took office at the time of the reorganization desired by Alexia Laroche-Joubert, short-lived president of the Miss France company, succeeding Sylvie Tellier. Frédéric Gilbert succeeded Alexia Laroche-Joubert as president of the Miss France company in 2023.
Miss France, the impossible succession at the head of the competition
“Cindy Fabre accompanied Miss France depending on her availability,” we are told in Miss France's communication, much less than Sylvie Tellier, who was very present in the beauty queen's entourage.
Cindy Fabre, who arrived at the end of Diane Leyre's reign, accompanied Indira Ampiot, Miss France 2023, Eve Gilles, Miss France 2024 and Angélique Angarni-Filopon, Miss France 2025.
