Constant mobilization. This Saturday January 18the firefighters of the Castelsarrasin-Moissac and Montech barracks communicated the number of interventions carried out in 2024during the traditional Sainte-Barbe ceremonies.
More than 4,000 interventions recorded
During these events, which took place in the presence of Michel Weill, president of the Department and the Board of Directors (CA) of the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Tarn-et-Garonne (SDIS 82), the 129 firefighters of Castelsarrasin-Moissac have confirmed having carried out more than 3,033 interventions during the calendar year and cumulative 208,950 hours of availability.
In Montech, the 60 volunteer firefightersled by Captain Dominique Boffa, for their part carried out nearly 1,000 interventions and totaled 153,700 hours of availability.
Unwavering commitment from firefighters
As president of the board of directors of SDIS 82, Michel Weill also wanted to emphasize, during the two ceremonies, “the unfailing commitment of the firefighters“before putting forward”their courage et their dedication for the population of Tarn-et-Garonnaise”.
