Donald Trump officially became the 47th American president on Monday. On this occasion, he addressed the nation.

On the show End PMthe professor of history at Cégep de Trois-Rivières and associated researcher at the Observatory on the United States of the Raoul-Dandurand Chair, Francis Langlois, analyzed his speech.

His speech was less aggressive or violent than last time, he emphasizes. “That being said, we feel that his hands are on the levers of power,” adds Francis Langlois.
