The January 18 Star Academy bonus was (very) special. It actually served as the second semi-final of Star Academy 2024. After Marine against Charles, the previous week, it was Ebony and Franck who faced each other. On the TF1 stage, they had to decide between solo titles, duets or dance scenes. A hell of a challenge that they both took on brilliantly. However, as the (cruel) rule dictates, only one could hope to be drafted by the public. At the end of the evening, Nikos Alliagas announced that it is Ebony who will join Marine for the grand final on January 25 on TF1. For this special evening, Marc Lavoine, Youssou N'Dour, Zaz and Cats on trees were present. She performed her signature piece, I wantalongside Marine, the first finalist. The artist then sang Andin duet with Franck. Then, she shared the stage with Ebony to perform Dazzled by the night. An unforgettable medley or a big failure? To tell the truth, it was rather the singer's re-shares after the evening which caused a real uproar on social networks.
