The two officials discussed the various aspects of bilateral military cooperation, notably relating to training and the exchange of visits. They also welcomed the solidity of the cooperation links between the Royal Armed Forces and the Central African Armed Forces, indicates a press release from the General Staff of the FAR.

On this occasion, the Chief of Staff of the Central African Armies expressed his gratitude to the Sherifian sovereign for the support provided to the Central African Armed Forces and praised the action of the Moroccan contingent within the framework of the stabilization mission and its determining role. within Minusca.

During these exchanges, the two officials expressed their satisfaction with the dynamics of the relations of friendship and cooperation between Morocco and the Central African Republic and examined the prospects of expanding them to other areas of common interest.

Since 2014, the Royal Armed Forces have participated in maintaining peace in the Central African Republic, within Minusca, with a contingent of 750 soldiers, the press release concludes.
