De Zerbi explains his big anger at the end of the match

This Sunday evening, OM had a great opportunity to overtake their pursuers in the race for the podium at the end of the season, while remaining not so far from PSG, seven points behind the Parisian leader who will see their calendar load up significantly from now on. So, stumbling once again at the Vélodrome against (1-1) was enough to cause frustration.

Roberto De Zerbi, at a press conference, was logically disappointed, believing that the nature of the match should have resulted in a victory. “Have you seen the statistics from the match? According to the stats at the end of the match, we deserved to win. Strasbourg remains a good team and we could have had a better match. But it could have been enough to win. It’s our third match in eight days and in a week we won less than we deserved,” complained De Zerbi.

“Just a communication problem”

The Italian technician who then explained his anger at the end of the match. As soon as the final whistle blew, De Zerbi appeared furious, first gesticulating against Pol Lirola before heated exchanges with several members of his staff. The reason? “I was annoyed with the change of system when Rowe and Merlin came in. There were four of us behind but I couldn't communicate with those on the other side. It was just a communication problem,” explained the Italian technician.
