Sporting success in the departmental cross of Tarn et Garonne – Le Petit Journal

The Tarn et Garonne departmental cross country was organized by the Moissac athlé club on Sunday January 12 on the site of the Saint Nicolas de la Grave base. A little over 200 runners paced the different loops on soft ground, not measuring their effort and pushing themselves to the end as the spirit of cross-country dictates. The Moissac athlé athletes confirmed the good health of the club with 65 participants. The club has just exceeded 200 members. 12 podiums with 5 first places rewarded the club's coaches. Athletics schools aged 5 to 8 took part in an 8' non-stop race event running on the rugby field ring. The chicks (9/10 years old) did well with a team victory and the good places of BENYAHIA Soumaya 3rd, GROS Marion 4th, DEGUILLE Arwen 5th and GUILLAUME Olivia 7th. The chicks finished 2nd as a team with good places for ABDAOUI Safouane 3rd, NOUNO Corentin 5th. Team victory for the youngest thanks to PERRAUD Luis 3rd, POUXVIEL Alix 4th, MANACH Yael 5th and DETHOR Benjamin 9th. On the cross court, the ten Moissac athlé runners led by coach Stéphane GARRIGUES 8th won the team race with MARILLAUD Jimmy 3rd, ELBE Aurélien 4th, and SOULDADIE Aimeric 5th. Individually note the 1st place of the senior beginner GUILLARD Lisa, the 3rd place of the junior girl BENECH Lola, the 3rd place of the junior DEGUILLE Maé, the 4th place of the cadet SOULIER Romain, the 4th and 5th place of the twin brothers Yanis and Ilyes MESSAOUDI. Finally, this great day of sport ended with the AS race over 9.4 km, the Moissagais Jeremy SEGRETAIN won the race ahead of the Caussadais Gabriel NOUTARY. It's been more than 10 years since we last won the AS race. The next event will bring these runners to the Cagnac les Mines site in Tarn for the ¼ finals of the FRANCE championships.
