576,000 euros in fake restaurant tickets seized in Seine-et-Marne

According to “Le Parisien”, the five boxes, discovered accidentally on June 6 in Seine-et-Marne by a transport company from Fontenay-Trésigny, contained 2,811 notebooks counterfeit restaurant vouchers from the Endered company. In total, these are 59 031 faux tickets from China that were seized.

Restaurant vouchers intended for a resident of Meaux

The nature, volume and record value (576,000 euros) of the “booty” (weighing 66 kg) recovered led to the intervention of the Central Office for the Suppression of Counterfeiting Currency (OCRFM). His investigators recently managed to trace a resident of Meaux to whom the boxes were intended.

If the latter, placed under surveillancenever came to collect his merchandise, the OCRFM agents finally managed to arrest him after long investigations. They also discovered that this individual and his partner were managing a clandestine e-commerce for cosmetic products. The rest will take place soon before the Meaux criminal court.
