The return of the scouts to Castelnaudary: Scouts Guides de is looking for volunteers

the essential
The Scouts Guides de movement wishes to establish itself in the town of Castelnaudary (Aude) and is actively looking for volunteers.

Could the scout movement make its appearance again in the town of Castelnaudary? This is the hope of Franck Serres, a supervisor within Scout Guides de France, a Catholic education movement approved by the Ministry in charge of youth for fifty years. “We are focused on raising awareness of ecology and respect between girls and boys,” explains a supervisor. The activities offered to children taken care of by the movement are “essentially scout camps, under tents, organized all year round”.

The association is looking for volunteers to support the creation of a scout branch in Castelnaudary (group leader, treasurer, secretary, etc.). We are also looking for young adults, from the age of eighteen, who will be responsible for supervising the children. The association offers them BAFA training specific to scouts, partly financed by the movement in exchange for their volunteering.
