At 5 p.m., when Mr. Puault kicked off this Lot derby, under the sunlight of the Saint-Sylvestre municipal stadium, the temperature was around zero.

The merit of the two teams was great, as was that of the many spectators present. This does not mean that the two teams involved produced chilly rugby, far from it. The girls from Lot-Lémance, from the start, as leaders, will mark their territory so as not to let their neighbors from the RCV believe for a single moment that it would be possible to pull off a coup on New Year's Eve. The Villeneuvoises, handicapped by numerous absences, had the merit of never giving up, of fighting courageously against this team which was progressing to reach the break with a flattering score (34-7, 35th).

For the young RCV girls, there was time to reduce the score and, for the locals, a messier second period, where they fell a little easier, always thwarted by a good Villeneuvoise defense. The cold became more bitter, the frost fell again on the stadium. 51-12 (70th), the score was heavy for some, flattering for others. Such is winter rugby. Congratulations to these young girls for the quality of the game offered and for their behavior during this Lot derby… Lémance.
