Galatasaray seems to impose a condition on the departure of Hakim Ziyech. The management of the Turkish club demanded that the Moroccan striker waive part of his compensation before probably joining the Saudi club Al-Fateh to whom he would have given his agreement in principle. The Lion of the Atlas would have opposed this request from Galatasaray, reports the Turkish press, noting that the negotiations for his departure are compromised.

Galatasaray had authorized the Moroccan player to negotiate with other clubs with a view to his transfer during the winter transfer window. In addition to Al-Fateh, clubs AZ Alkmaar from the Netherlands, Rennes in France and Benfica in Portugal have shown interest in the Moroccan international. Sidelined by Okan Buruk since the start of this season, the 34-year-old expressed his desire to leave the Turkish club before the end of his contract scheduled for June 2025.
