The event brought together professionals from the sector, experts and also officials. Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Trade, affirmed on this occasion that “Morocco needs qualified human resources to ensure its emergence. For his part, Fouad Douiri, former Minister of Energy and Mines and local elected official, indicated that “Morocco is an open country, it must take advantage of the best experiences in the world for its education system. This must first be generalized, accessible, of quality in order to adapt to the various current and future challenges. He recalled some of the issues facing national education, namely massification where the number of pupils and students continues to increase. We must invest more to meet the various constantly growing needs. The second issue relates to accessibility, advocating that education must be within everyone’s reach.”

Recalling the principles of the National Education Development Strategy in Morocco, Taleb Moumen, director of the Casablanca-Settat Regional Education Academy, noted that “these principles are based on two complementary levers, namely the promotion of public schools and the restructuring of private education, in an environment of equity, an integrated approach and above all complementarity. As a force of proposal, we want to contribute effectively to the development of Moroccan schools,” he concluded.
