The leader of the Lot Valley hosts the weekend derby against RCBB

The Lot Valley will host the Bon-Encontrais on Sunday (3:30 p.m.), while the Cassipontins will travel to Mauvezin and the Néracais will host Vic-en-Bigorre

1 USVL 47 resumes with a derby

On forced rest last Sunday due to the postponement of the match in Pont-du-Casse, the players from the Lot Valley will organize themselves to consolidate their position as leaders of group 9. They will receive, this Sunday, the Bon- Met against whom they had won in the first leg at the Lajunie stadium, 16-23, a two-legged try.

“The postponement of the last match surprised us,” explains Jérôme Cantagrel, coach of the Vallée du Lot with Olivier Sverzut, “because we only got the information on Saturday at 1 p.m. Still resting, we increased the training to prepare for the arrival of the RCBB. In the first leg, we scored one more try because we were efficient up front and behind. The Bon-Encontrais were in tough conditions but they have now moved up to 5e place and will be difficult to maneuver. It's up to us to make the effort. »

“The match against L'Isle-en-Dodon was difficult,” recognizes Nicolas Deltour, RCBB coach with Julien Gracia. In the end, if we had scored, we would have taken the offensive bonus but if the Gersois had scored, they would have won. In Fumel, we will set ourselves the objective of bringing back at least the defensive bonus as we have done in almost all of our trips except to L'Isle-en-Dodon. Every little point is important. »

Lot Valley (1is/33 pts) – Bon-Encontre/Boé (5e/25 pts), this Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at the Henri-Cavallier de Fumel stadium.

2 COP XV will continue its journey in the Gers

Deprived, last Sunday, of being able to take first place from the Lot Valley, the Cassipontins will go to the Mauvezinois whom they had beaten with difficulty in the first leg 48-36, six tries to five.

“Last weekend,” recalls Patrick Diniz, COP XV coach with Romuald Berthoumieux, “our main field was waterlogged. With less preparation, we will go to the Gersois who had caused us problems on the way out. The latter have a lot of qualities but we are going there without pressure but with the desire to get back on track. »

Mauvezin (6e/23 pts) – Pont-du-Casse (2e/31 pts), this Sunday at 3:15 p.m. at the Marcel-Gilard stadium in Mauvezin.

3 The Neracais will try to get out of the red zone

Beaten at the Baronnies 24-12, three tries to two, the Néracais will have a lot to gain against Vic-en-Bigorre who are only four points ahead of them. In the first leg, the Bigourdans won comfortably 51-26 and seven tries to four, but today they seem to be experiencing more difficulties.

“In Sarlabous,” notes Fabien Alvarez, USN coach with Alan Dosser. We lacked aggression in the first half. The reception of Vic-en-Bigorre is an important match for the two teams which lack personnel. is a combat sport and if you're not there, you lose. »

Nérac (9e/19 pts) – Vic-en-Bigorre (8e/23 pts), this Sunday at 3:15 p.m. at the André-Duprat stadium in Nérac.
