The first edition scheduled for January 20

According to a press release, This first meeting will be held at the Abdou Diouf International Conference Center (Cicad), on Monday January 20, 2025. A now annual meeting, desired by the Head of State Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, bringing together the main managers of the public and parapublic sector.
With a view to strengthening the coherence and effectiveness of public action, the Head of State organized, on April 27, 2024, a first government seminar. “In continuation of this dynamic, it was decided to establish, in the first quarter of each year, a national meeting bringing together all public administrators and managers. This meeting is called Camp (Conference of public administrators and managers) and constitutes a space for sharing, strategic orientation and mobilization around the major challenges of governance and the management of public policies,” we read in the press release.
For this first edition, it is essentially a question of reminding participants of certain fundamentals in the field of public governance, the conduct and control of public action. As specific objectives, it is a question of raising awareness of Vision Senegal 2050 for a sovereign, just and prosperous Senegal; present the main axes of the finance law for the year 2025; shed light on the organization and functioning of administrations, as well as on digital transformation within the public sphere and highlight the importance of good governance and control of public action through various communications regulatory and verification institutions.
