Thierno Bocoum denounces a hasty decision

The leader of the political movement “Agir” Thierno Bocoum denounced the ouster of Barthélémy Dias at the head of the World Association of Large Metropolises (Metropolis), in a publication on his Facebook page.

“By replacing Barthelemy Dias at the head of the World Association of Large Metropolises, Metropolis, the city of Dakar was harmed and its mayor unfairly dismissed,” wrote the former member of the Rewmi party.

According to him, Métropolis made a hasty decision at a time when legal proceedings are underway and no administrative procedure has been initiated to replace the mayor.

Thierno Bocoum considered that “this lightness is unacceptable and inadmissible for an association of this scale. »
