The D’KLAM Festival 2025, organized by the SLAM’AROC Association in partnership with the French Institute of Casablanca, will be held on March 21 and 22, 2025 to celebrate World Poetry Day. This 5th edition will highlight the National Slam Poetry Championship, offering the winner the opportunity to represent Morocco at the World Cup of Slam Poetry (WPSO) and the African Cup of Slam Poetry (CASP). The festival began in December 2024 with training workshops and open stages in several Moroccan cities, addressing themes such as poetic writing, stage performance and bodily expression. The call for applications for the championship will be open from February 1 to 17, 2025, with evaluation criteria based on the quality of the text and stage performance. At the same time, hybrid events (online and in person) will be organized in partnership with various Moroccan cultural venues. The media and partners are invited to support this festival which promotes dialogue, exchange and artistic recognition in Morocco and internationally.
