A wooden log house fell prey to flames on the night of Wednesday January 15 to Thursday January 16, 2025 in Morcenx-le-Nouvelle, in the former commune of Sindères.
The fire started from the kitchen
According to information given by the Landes departmental fire and rescue service (SDIS40), the fire broke out around 3 a.m. in the kitchen of this 140 m² house with one floor.
THE 20 firefighters mobilized fought for three long hours to put out the fire. Four people present in this home escaped unharmed. They were relocated by the town hall.
