The 10th edition of the sporting event will be held next Sunday February 16 in Nîmes, it will bring together more than 12,000 participants, thus shattering last year's record and its 9,000 faithful.

The craze for “1st sporting event for the general public in Gard at the arenas” was such that individual registrations left in three weeks in the fall, and the Nîmes urban trail has already recorded more than 5,000 “failed” pre-registered for the 2026 edition.
Record shattered
The event, considered a revisited version of the “Heritage Days” baskets with
feet, will once again open the doors of emblematic or little-known sites to thousands of runners and hikers in search of a sporting, festive, historical and cultural experience

brings together running enthusiasts and hikers. Open-air museum, for a day, our city of Antonins can be discovered a little more with each edition of this urban trail”rejoices Nicolas Rainville, deputy city representative for sports.
Headliners for 2025
“For a whole weekend, the runners and their companions transform the city into a place of celebration and sharing”specifies Xavier Douais, deputy delegate for tourism. The Alsatian Sébastien SPEHLER, world reference in the field of urban trails, winner of the 22 KM of the NUT 2023, will be at the start of the 42 KM. As well as the Uzetian Emmanuel GAULT (over the same distance), recent winner of the 82 KM of the VENI VICI.
A special device for 10 year olds
Who says 10 years, says new things! The creation of a “marathon” format (42 KM) for the 10th anniversary of the NUT will offer a “best of” of the first nine editions and new sites. A children's race on Saturday afternoon at the arenas (eve of the NUT), will be open to 700 children aged 3 to 11 (online registration opening in the coming days). A village NUT will be set up with entertainment all day Saturday on the Esplanade next to the Arena, when bibs are collected. A special arrangement is planned on the day of the NUT: staggering of departures and arrivals throughout the day (from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.), in order to offer a major NUT day to mark the 10th anniversary of the NUT official “after-NUT” with local traders (bars and restaurants crossed) until evening.

5 formats are on the program for the 2025 edition of the NUT organized in close partnership with the City of Nîmes:
- 42 KM run (800 participants – registrations still open) – departure 7:30 a.m.
- 24 KM run (2100 participants / full except Companies) – departure 8:00 a.m.
- 16 KM run (3500 participants / full except Companies) – departure 10:30 a.m.
- 10 KM run (3200 participants / full except Companies) – departure 1:00 p.m.
- 10 KM hike (2500 participants / full except Companies) – departure 2:20 p.m.
39 sites crossed
39 emblematic sites of Nîmes will be crossed in a record, including 8 unpublished. 92 departments and 42 nationalities will be represented at the start.
