The coach of the Moroccan football team, Walid Regragui, finalized the Atlas Lions’ preparation program for the African Cup of Nations (CAN), which will take place next December. This program includes a series of five friendly matches.
Preparation will begin in June with a first friendly match, made possible by the cancellation of the match against Eritrea, initially planned as part of the World Cup qualifiers. Two additional friendly matches are scheduled for November, at the end of the qualifiers, followed by two final friendly matches in December, shortly before the start of the CAN.

The draw for the final phase of the CAN, which will determine Morocco’s opponents, will take place on January 27 at the Mohammed VI Center in Maâmoura. The Morocco team appears in hat 1, along with Algeria, Egypt, Senegal, Nigeria and Ivory Coast.
