Mogi Bayat has long been involved with various Ligue 1 clubs, not even to mention the Jupiler Pro League. A bygone era in at least one of them.
What remains of Mogipoly? The time when Mogi Bayat reigned supreme over the Franco-Belgian transfer window seems partly over, but the agent remains very influential in various clubs including, of course, Sporting Charleroi and La Gantoise.
In France, his aura was a little less damaged than in Belgium by Operation Mains Propres and he notably retains a lot of influence at FC Nantes.
But at least one club has decided to cut ties: according to Racing, an information page dedicated to Racing Lens, Mogi Bayat would no longer have access to Felix Bollaert.
Indeed, the departure of Arnaud Pouille, former general director of Racing Lens, would have meant the end of Bayat’s Lens connections. Pouille was very close to the Iranian agent, which did not please Lensois President Joseph Ougourlian at all.
Since then, Arnaud Pouille has found a position in Ligue 1 since he became the president of Stade Rennais. We are waiting to see if this means that Mogi Bayat will now find a welcome home for his players in Brittany…
