Bourita receives his Gambian counterpart, carrying a written message to HM the King

In a statement to the press following this interview, Mamadou Tangara wished to express the gratitude and thanks of his country to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for all the support that Morocco brought to the Gambiawho holds the current presidency of theOrganization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)following the success of the Organization’s summit that his country hosted last year.

His Majesty the Kingas President of the Al-Quds Committeehas “a determining role to play in the success of this Organization,” he said. Mr. Tangara also took this opportunity to welcome the actions undertaken by HM the King, Amir Al-Mouminine.

He also indicated that his meeting with Mr. Bourita was also an opportunity to discuss bilateral relations and to discuss the situation in the sub-region, in order to agree on common positions in relation with Africa.
