Météo France has placed Haute-Loire in yellow warning “snow-ice” between this Wednesday 15 and Thursday 16 January.
The department, which is the only one concerned in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, will be on yellow alert from 6 p.m. this Wednesday and until 3am in the morning on Thursday.
A little snow in Haute-Loire?
At sunset, the weather will cool down even further in Haute-Loire, with negative temperatures reaching minus 10 degreesnotably in Puy-en-Velay.
A few flakes could also fall on the areas of Monistrol–sur-Loire andYssingeaux.
Motorists are urged to exercise caution this Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.
Météo France announces freezing drizzle, or even simply fog when you wake up. It is advisable to slow down when driving to minimize the risk of an accident.
