Development work in this Cotentin town, deviations to be planned for 3 months

Deputy Mayor at Raids (Manche), Wilfrid Rouillier presented the town development project on the occasion of the vows ceremony organized on Sunday January 12, 2025.

The forecast cost is from 670 000 euros. “It will be a global project which the works will generate inconveniences at the village level, for approximately three months, with deviations to be expected“, he says.

Work postponed for a few months

And the creation and development of car parks with a modification of the premises, the installation of new street lights. We are going to take advantage of this to erase the electrical and telephone networks and, we have just learned, the renewal of the water pipes. At the same time, we are going to build the city park and have plans for a bowling green to make it, in the future, a place to live for families.

“This work initially planned and avril-maiare postponed, to date, in September without guarantee. Indeed, the state budgetnot having been voted on, the departmental council cannot commit itself,” underlines Mayor Jean-Claude Lambard.
