Having disappeared on December 29, the santon of the questing angel is back in its place. He was found this Sunday, January 12 at the foot of the Embrun rock, in a garden.
He had made the big jump over the cliff, his fall having been fortunately cushioned by the branches of a tree. “Joy of rediscovering this heritage,” rejoiced Father Thibaud Varis, announcing the good news on Facebook.
He thinks it is now possible to get hold of those responsible for the angel's leap. “We hope to find the perpetrators of these misdeeds thanks to the video surveillance of the town of Embrun,” he concludes.
