It is because of the loss of a drilling therefore linked to the reach of salt water which is extremely present here. The quality of the water had taken a big hit. It is water which is extremely salty,” declared Mouhamadou Moctar Watt, Governor. of Kaolack who announced a battery of measures to deal with this problem. “La Sen’Eau has simply decided to review its distribution plan so that a few days before the religious event, most of the production is directed to the Léona Niassène district, also in the vicinity of the Dialègne district in order to satisfy the enormous need for water during this Ziarra”, specified the regional executive.
