In Mauritania since this Sunday for a work and friendship visit, Ousmane Sonko made a strong announcement. The Prime Minister confirmed having received the report from the Court of Auditors on the audit of public finances.
The figures revealed by the government on the management of public finances had been the subject of much dispute, particularly among certain executives of the old regime. In a threatening tone, the Prime Minister promised to soon clarify the situation.
