During this bilateral meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the 89th edition of Green Week in Berlin (January 17 – 26), the two officials focused mainly on cooperation in three particular areas, namely forests. , irrigation and agricultural production, the Palestinian minister told the MAP news agency.
Morocco is an essential country on which Palestine relies a lot, particularly in the agricultural sector, underlined Rizq Abd al-Rahman Salem Salimia, who praised the depth of the relations which unite Palestine and the Kingdom as well as the fraternal ties between the peoples. , Moroccans and Palestinians.
“This relationship is based on solid foundations (…). Morocco is a brother country dear to our hearts,” he said.
-Morocco is participating in this 89th edition of the Grüne Woche with a pavilion highlighting the cultural heritage and agricultural wealth of the Kingdom through its authentic and varied local products, as well as products with high added value respecting international standards of quality and durability.
Inaugurated by El Bouari, in the presence of his German counterpart, Cem Özdemir, the Moroccan pavilion has 21 exhibitors representing 39 cooperatives from the 12 regions of the Kingdom, presenting typically Moroccan products such as argan oil and its derivatives, olive, saffron, dates and aromatic and medicinal plants.
Recognized worldwide, this year the Grüne Woche brings together more than 1,500 exhibitors from around sixty countries and attracts nearly 400,000 visitors, making Berlin a major crossroads for exchanges around food and agriculture. and horticulture.
