“I wanted to thank you for the quality of your actions,” he insisted, addressing the staff. “We know your daily life and we strive to take requests and needs into consideration,” he continued. An observation completed by Doctor Samuel Fotchuont, president of the establishment's medical commission, who congratulated the employees before returning to the five structures concerned with different statuses and their own legal entity. “They had to agree on a territory to build a shared project. Finally, the director, Sévena Relland, discussed the highlights of 2024, including the medical-care project and professional loyalty initiatives. For 2025, the commitments relate in particular to the deployment of a hot-line gerontology, the establishment of a welcome booklet for residents in nursing homes (accommodation establishment for dependent elderly people) as well as the launch of an investment plan of three million euros including 433,000 € in Montbard with, among other things, the renovation of around ten cardiology rooms. Sébastien Lanoye, sub-prefect of Haute Côte-d'Or, closed the ceremony by praising the work of the professionals. “Thank you all for your work, your job is not very easy, we have a school of nurses and caregivers to encourage you to stay put. »

The ceremony ended with the honoring of three new retirees and five recipients of the silver and vermeil medals.

The medalists of honor for work at the hospital center are: Valérie Dauvergne, Nathalie Fauchereau and Brigitte Foglia (Silver), Mary Chanliau and Philippe Menetrier (Vermeil). The retired agents are: Céline Aublin Dubus, Annie Chauve and Agnès Villégas.
