Mbao – After being elected deputy: AKS creates its party “And Ci Kooluté Nguir Senegal” – Lequotidien

“And Ci Kooluté Nguir Senegal” (Aks) is the name of a brand new political party. It was created this Saturday in Mbao, by the former Minister of the Environment and Sustainable Development, Abdou Karim Sall, and his comrades, during a constitutive general assembly.

Since this Saturday, January 11, the former Minister of the Environment, under the reign of President Macky Sall, has taken a new step in his political career. Indeed, after being elected to the National Assembly where he allied with the “Takku Wallu Senegaal” Coalition to form a parliamentary group, Abdou Karim Sall launched his political party. It was through a General Assembly that this formation, called “And Ci Kooluté Nguir Sénégal” (Aks), was brought to the baptismal font. It was with a coalition bearing the same name that Abdou Karim Sall participated in the last early legislative elections on November 17.

Delegates from the former Aks coalition, coming from Dakar and several departments of the country, participated in this meeting in Mbao, testifying to the commitment and mobilization of members across the national territory. During these legislative elections, although newly formed, the Aks Coalition managed to obtain a valuable seat in the National Assembly.

The discussions during this General Assembly made it possible to outline the broad outlines of future strategies, with the aim of consolidating the achievements and broadening the party’s electoral base. The Aks Party expresses its gratitude to all activists, supporters and voters who contributed to this initial success and reaffirms its commitment to working for the development and well-being of Senegal.
