For 12 other children, it was towards Oloron where they were welcomed at the Chapel by the Espace Jéliote team. To enter the depths of the performance hall, the little ones first sit in the “waiting room” where they get rid of their hats and coats before entering this magical place.

The captivated children enter the forest of the imagination, through the encounters provoked by the opening of the boxes. These outings are part of the nursery project. Culture and the discovery of the performing arts can be alive whatever the age. “We don’t have a lot of resources at the crèche, so we appreciate these meetings offered by the Espace Jéliote once a quarter, with targeted shows for the little ones,” explains director Marion Mousques. And parents are mobilizing so that we can make the trip. » Alongside the 12 children and staff, 6 parents complete the supervision and provide transport in individual cars. “Mini-buses are very complicated for toddlers! » A third meeting in Oloron is scheduled for the next quarter.

The Chapel thus welcomed nearly 350 children from nurseries or nursery classes in the territory of the Communauté de Communes du Haut-Béarn as part of the Espace Jéliote school program.
