at the Ille-et-Vilaine championship, the Fougerais responded

1438 athletes were entered in the championshipIlle-et-Vilaine of cross-country in Fougères, Sunday January 12to try to put their name on the list or to qualify for the championships of Brittany which will take place at Brest the January 26.

A team of 140 volunteers from the Vigilante Ferns masterfully organized these championships. The very hilly circuit, alternating uphills and downhills, extremely muddy, was appreciated by the runners.

If some races were dominated head and shoulders by experienced athletes (Laure Bertrand in elite women's, Jeanne Toullier in junior), others gave way to memorable games where the Fougerais of the APF distinguished themselves : Mathis Paumard, 2nd in juniors who allowed his team to win the title, Léna Auvray, 2nd junior, Tyméo Daniel 2nd cadet, Guénolé Daniel 3rd master…
