Fatal attack on Aodren, 7 years old: the malamute dogs, deemed dangerous, were euthanized

Following the fatal attack on 7-year-old Aodren on Thursday afternoon, the five malamute dogs responsible were euthanized. The veterinary procedure was carried out this Saturday, with the agreement of the family, confirmed the mayor of Quévy, David Volant (MR+). Accustomed to going to feed them, the boy was suddenly attacked by these young dogs, although they were initially considered non-dangerous. Despite her attempts to intervene, the mother, who was present, was unable to save her son, who succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
