Lhe race for the German chancellorship is launched on X, with a red carpet for the far right. Elon Musk – who joined the electoral campaign for the early legislative elections on February 23 in Germany, calling for people to vote for the far-right party AfD (“Alternative für Deutschland”, literally “Alternative for Germany”) – organized an interview on its social network with Alice Weidel, controversial leader of the AfD. The interview, broadcast live this Thursday, January 9 on the billionaire’s platform, is a boon for this movement which is credited with more than 20% of voting intentions in the polls.
“Thank you Elon for having me,” began Alice Weidel before presenting her party, of which she is the co-president.
