The fire is under control and firefighters are still working through the debris. The cause of the fire remains unknown, but according to police authorities, there are no signs to suggest that the fire was of criminal origin.

The house is a total loss, according to firefighters.

The owner of the house cannot be found.

Emergency services were called around 7am on Thursday morning. No other homes in the area were affected.
