From July 5 to 12, 2025during the 19e UECT European Week, cycle tourists from all over Europe will be welcomed in Prayssac (), a town of 2,460 inhabitants located 25 km west of Cahors.

A very active club

The General Assembly of the Departmental Committee of Cycle tourism was held in Prayssac on Sunday December 15, 2024. Bernard Alzaga was re-elected president, with Marie-Andrée Bardet at his side elected secretary and Valéry Girard elected treasurer. The Committee has 659 members as of November 30, 2024. The film of the Ensemble à event was screened at the end of the General Assembly.

Maxi-verte and its great success

Many topics were discussed, including the success of the Maxi Verte in Puy-l'Évêque in 2024 which attracted 1 400 participants and their companions, but also the Ensemble à Paris project which enabled 23 members to complete the Cahors-Paris journey in 8 stages, and toPink October cycling to raise awareness about breast cancer. The different commissions took stock (women's commission, youth commission, mountain bike commission) and the calendar 2025 was presented. Safety is also a key subject within the cycle touring club. In fact, awareness is given to students in 6e thanks to the Vélo Collège operation: six hundred students are assessed each year.
