Anne-Sophie et Sylvain Brossard are embarking on a new professional adventure to offer a service that is rarely present and highly anticipated in the town of Préfailles (Loire-Atlantique), near Pornic, where 65% of the properties are second homes or occasional accommodation, with a population of 60 % aged 60 and over.

Originally from Bouguenais, Anne-Sophie and Sylvain Brossard arrived in a second home in Préfailles at the end of 2019 before settling there permanently in 2023.

They present the project SBHome-concierge to the mayor of Préfailles and launched their business, a concierge and stewardship service for individuals.

The concierge takes care of everything

A project aimed at owners of Préfailles, but also those of La Plaine-sur-Mer, Sainte-Marie-sur-Mer and Tharon. “I was a goods dealer and this activity is currently losing momentum,” explains Sylvain Brossard. Hence the idea of ​​offering the services of a rental concierge.

The concierge takes care of almost everything, he serves asintermediate between the owner of a property and the person who rents it for a short stay.

For seasonal rentals, the services offered are the preparation and promotion of the property with taking photos and putting it online (Airbnb), the management of schedules and reservations, communication, inventory and entry/exit management. , preparation before rental, cleaning and laundry management…

Monitoring and works

But SBHome's services don't stop there. “We also offer a more diversified range of services to owners,” adds Sylvain Brossard. A whole range of services for second homes, regular inspection and ventilation, heating of the residence, collection and forwarding of mail, routine maintenance and small jobs, watering of indoor and outdoor plants, inspection after weather alert, checking of openings, but also garden maintenance.

Another very appreciable and less common service, support forimprovement of the property and the swork monitoring.

“As a property dealer, I approach a lot of local businesses for renovations,” adds Sylvain Brossard.

It is this expertise and this knowledge that he proposes to make available to request quotes from selected craftsmen, plan the work, ensure regular monitoring and reports throughout the construction phase.

Flyers have been distributed throughout the town and requests are starting to arrive, with a real start, the couple hopes, in spring 2025.
