The biggest festival in the agricultural world is back from January 3 to 12 at Plaine des Cafres. For its 41st edition, Miel Vert uses the recipes for its success: presentation of the sectors, promotion of local products, funfair and eclectic musical programming.

Miel Vert 2025 puts the pork industry in the spotlight.

After a shortened 2024 edition due to the arrival of Cyclone Belal, it is the pork sector which will be highlighted this year 2025. “This celebration is to represent Reunionese agriculture, to highlight what we farmers are capable of doing to offer good quality products” summarizes Ludovic Pausé, breeder whose 45 sows give birth to more than 1,000 piglets each year.

At the 23rd kilometer, visitors will be able to discover a real reconstructed farm and enjoy the various activities, in addition to enjoying the productions of several chefs, pastry chefs, confectioners, including some Meilleurs Ouvriers de .
