Tension in Bondy (Seine-Saint-Denis) this Tuesday, December 24. An individual armed with a Kalashnikov fired several shots in the street, injuring one person. The events took place around 9:50 p.m., rue Jean Lebas, and an investigation into attempted intentional homicide was opened.
Targeted shooting at a group in a car
According to a police source cited by CNEWS, the attacker targeted a group of people in a vehicle, a Volkswagen Polo. A few moments before the incident, an RATP machinist had noticed the suspicious presence of the armed man.
On site, investigators found 12 shell casings, bullet holes, as well as traces of blood.
An injured person taken care of
Among the occupants of the car, one person was injured in the back of the head by a shattered glass. Found in a brasserie near the scene, the injured man was treated by firefighters and transported to the Blanc-Mesnil private hospital. His vital prognosis is not in jeopardy.
Two passengers on the run
The two other passengers in the car reportedly fled after the shooting. Their state of health remains unknown to this day.
An ongoing investigation
The Departmental Judicial Police Service (SDPJ 93) was asked to carry out the investigation, which concerns an attempted intentional homicide. The police are continuing their investigations to find the shooter and determine the precise circumstances of this attack.
