A surprising drug trade dismantled. Sunday December 22, at midday, crews from the anti-crime brigade of Toulon (Var) intercepted a vehicle to the east of the city and proceeded to check it, according to sources at TF1-LCI. On board, an elderly couple, 78 years old for the man, 75 for the woman.
Drugs in aperitif packets
Originally from the North, both are suspected of carrying out drug deliveries with their vehicle, a system called “Ubershit”. Law enforcement searched the vehicle and found cannabis, weed and cocaine, all hidden in packets of snacks.
Later, the police searched their daughter's home and garage, where they were staying. Narcotics, which they are suspected of reselling via the social network Snapchat, were also discovered, reports the same source. In total, 760 grams of cannabis resin, 60 grams of weed and 80 grams of cocaine were seized. Cash was also found, totaling 1000 euros.
The two septuagenarians were placed in police custody on Sunday December 22. Police custody was extended this Tuesday.
