A new general director of services

Lydie Bourré is the new general director of services (DGS) of the City, since December 16, 2024. She replaces Emmanuel Péché, who left for Vendée.

What is your background ?

After thirty-four years spent in the territorial civil service, I worked in Vigneux-de-Bretagne as director of finance and public procurement; in Basse-Goulaine, as deputy general director, and in La Haye-Fouassière, as director of resources and user relations. I am originally from (Ille-et-Vilaine) and I live in Sorinières.

Why did you choose the City of Sorinières ?

Taking up this position is a challenge in a DGS position in a municipality of this importance. The context is difficult because state revenues are uncertain and no longer evolve or are decreasing, which creates constraints on local authorities. The commune of Sorinières will continue to develop, despite these uncertainties.

What projects will you lead ?

Mastering the operational side of finances, public procurement, human resources, services to the population and having implemented numerous projects, I wish, today, to implement the political projects of the mayor and elected officials by managing the organization of services.

I want to develop the skills of employees and all staff and ensure that public services are efficient.

I want to enable innovation and give meaning to everyone's action, ensuring that agents flourish in their role.

The general interest mission is important for the positive image of the public service. The entire team must participate in the success of the organization. Furthermore, it is essential to involve citizens in planned actions, according to the wishes of the municipality.
