Dressed in sublime festive dresses, the Belgian royal family poses in front of the tree and sends their wishes for the year 2025.
This Wednesday, December 18, the Belgian royal family gathered for the Christmas Concert at the Palais Royal, in Brussels. The opportunity also to extend their best wishes for the coming new year.
All four pose in front of the cameras, under the majestic fir trees, and the nativity scene that goes with it. The outfits are all lovely: Mathilde from Belgium wears a long red dress, flared at the end. Its mid-length sleeves add a touch of elegance, without forgetting the pumps matching the Christmas color. And as we are used to hearing, “like mother, like daughters”. Princess Elisabeth and Princess Eléonore have inherited their mother's chic.
The eldest opts for a red velvet dress, which covers her feet. She adorns her face with beautiful dangling earrings, and holds a clutch in her arms. The youngest, for her part, brings a touch of light to everything thanks to her shimmering golden dress. Did you notice the hang of the outfit on the right side? It allows you to highlight your slim waist. Which is quite successful!
The event was eagerly awaited. The tradition has continued for more than 60 years, but it had to be canceled last year due to construction. Fortunately, everything is well taken care of! Around 550 guests dressed to the nines were able to listen to the sweet voice of the Belgian singer Mentissa, accompanied by musicians from the Queen Elisabeth musical chapel and the Wallonia Chamber Orchestra.
To watch the concert, go from December 23 to rtbf, rtltvi, vrt.be if you have the Belgian channels. Otherwise, you can go to TV5monde. And don't forget to put on your best outfit (even if you're on your couch).
