. N2M: Sco falls at home, first victory of the season for Saint-Renan

The match against Villepreux on December 8 left a bitter taste for Rachel Bruyère's men, with a defeat in the tie-break. In this operation taking points against the relegated side, benefited from a second chance against, this time, the red lantern Saint-Renan, who had not won a single match until this Saturday.

Despite a decent start (8-5), the Scoists quickly revealed their weaknesses in the first set, multiplying the errors that could be seen as offerings for their opponents (12-25).

“The word of the season is frustration”

The rest of the meeting could have felt like a fir tree but Salim Bennani, captain and Scoist passer, sounded the revolt of his team, turning into a marker to allow his club to nourish some hope. Despite the fact that Angers led the score in this second act (21-19), Saint-Renan took advantage of the locals' blunders to win the second set (24-26).

The residents of the Jean-Vilar room reacted in the third act, showing their spectators that they perhaps had the mental resources to get a tie-break (25-23). In the final round, Angers was on alternating current and lost all hope of being able to return to the match. “The word of the season, with this team, is frustration, because we are capable of doing good things but then we make too many mistakes to be able to achieve a victory in the end”said Rachel Bruyère at the end of the meeting.

Now it's time for the truce with the objective of finding, at the foot of the tree, a second wind before tackling the return phase.

ANGERS SCO – SAINT-RENAN : 1-3 (12-25, 24-26, 25-23, 19-25).
