First part of the 32nd finals yesterday, Friday, with seven matches on the program. Only one Ligue 1 team was out. But, all eyes were on two players on loan from Racing Club de Lens: Yannick Pandor and Anthony Bermont.
First, the bad news. Yannick Pandor and US Boulogne-sur-Mer were eliminated by Haguenau, resident of Nationale 2. Quickly trailing in the 6th minute, the Boulonnais saw their goalkeeper, Victor Delins, be sent off in the 16th minute. So, replacing at kick-off, Yannick Pandor came into play straight away. In numerical superiority, Haguenau stepped on the accelerator by scoring two additional goals in the first act, 21st and 45th minutes. Shortly after the hour mark, the N2 team sealed the score with a fourth goal. USBCO reduced the score in stoppage time. Boulogne-sur-Mer is eliminated with a score of 4 goals to 1.
Then, the good news is for Anthony Bermont's FC Annecy. Traveling to GOAL FC, resident of N2, the partners of the player loaned by RC Lens experienced all the difficulties to escape the trap. However, Annecy opened the scoring in the 32nd minute through Axel Drouhin. However, the Lyon team equalized in the 53rd minute. Finally, it was at the end of stoppage time in the match that the N2 club gave in with an own goal which offered qualification for the FCA, 1-2 final score. Anthony Bermont started and came off in the 91st minute.
